BTO signed new agreement with Inven2

BTO has signed an agreement with Inven2, allowing researchers at University of Bergen to access, register and publish at Inven2 Biologics; a web-portal for licensing and purchasing materials from research laboratories within the life science area.

Inven2 Biologics is a platform for publishing life science research tools, which allows users to license and purchase materials from research laboratories. The portal was initially an effort initiated by Inven2 to increase the visibility of the research tools continuously developed by scientist in their region.

“The portal can help to establish new partnerships and exchange with other research groups and provides commercialization opportunity usually by means of licensing/sale to biotech or pharma industry. Also, if the tools are licensed to industry, they cannot be used by industrial customer in commercial applications, only for research and development purposes,” says Malgorzata Barczyk, business developer at BTO.

Inven2 Biologics provides access to a broad range of non-commercial life science research tools as well as the opportunity for researchers to promote their unique biological materials such as cell lines, vectors, antibodies or animal models to a broader spectrum of potential users and buyers.

The new agreement gives scientists working with BTO the opportunity to enjoy a new form of marketing and networking service.

BTO can help you to register a user profile, and with the registration of materials. We take the responsibility of marketing, sales, handling legal issues and building an industry network.
